Dominion Energy Reports Strong 2025 Results Amid Q4 Earnings Miss

Dominion Energy announced its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results on February 23, 2026, delivering substantial year-over-year growth. For the full year, GAAP net income surged to $3.0 billion ($3.45 per share), up from $2.0 billion in 2024. Operating earnings reached $3.42 per share, indicating broad underlying strength across its utility segments.

In Q4, revenue climbed 20% year-over-year to $4.09 billion, comfortably beating Wall Street estimates. However, Q4 operating earnings of $0.68 per share slightly missed analysts’ expectations of $0.69.

Looking ahead, management issued 2026 operating earnings guidance of $3.45 to $3.69 per share. The company also confidently extended its 5% to 7% long-term annual growth target through 2030, while reaffirming its existing dividend and credit outlooks.
